trip to the Mela in 1989

I
am a videographer, filming 1989 Maha Kumbh Mela. Today from a boat.
Very peaceful out here...
|
I
was filming for most of the month that I stayed. I have a library of
over 40 hours of mela footage.

I
stayed at the Gita Prachar Camp, in my dome tent.
|
|
 |
At
the Mela I enjoy sharing a traditional peace pipe with some
of the local shiva monks.
I
couldn't keep up with the cool swami in white, I tried, and
he was over 100 years old.
